Job Duties:

• Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and educational activities
• Assisting students with their learning, providing one-to-one support when necessary
• Helping to create and maintain a positive learning environment
• Supervising students during class and break times
• Assisting with administrative tasks related to education

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or experience
• DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance

Education:

Minimum of GCSE level education in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working in an educational setting as a Teaching Assistant

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of child development and learning processes
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher-level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

• Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
• Classroom-based role with some outdoor supervision duties
• Potential for temporary contract extension or permanent position based on performance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
