September 2026 Start

£14.25 per hour | Weekly PAYE Pay | Monday–Friday | School Hours

We are seeking a number of enthusiastic, caring and motivated Teaching Assistants to join our welcoming primary school team from September 2026. We are looking for confident, proactive and positive individuals who can contribute to a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Applications are welcomed from experienced Teaching Assistants as well as individuals with direct or transferable experience working with children and young people.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support pupils across the primary age range. Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
  • Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions
  • Encouraging pupil confidence, participation and engagement
  • Supporting positive classroom behaviour management
  • Assisting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
  • Helping create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families

We Are Looking For Individuals Who:

  • Have experience working with children or transferable relevant experience
  • Are confident, adaptable and enthusiastic
  • Can positively manage classroom behaviour and support student engagement
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing and development
  • Demonstrate initiative, resilience and professionalism
  • Have experience supporting children with ALN/SEN — highly desirable

Rate of Pay: £14.25 per hour
Pay: Weekly PAYE
