Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Dudley (DY2)
 
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £92.63 - £110.00 per day (depending on experience)

Full-Time | Temporary Position | Potential Permanent Opportunity

We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Dudley (DY2) area that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their support team.

This is a full-time temporary role with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The school is seeking someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them to achieve their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide academic and pastoral support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You may be supporting individual students, small groups, or whole-class learning depending on the needs of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with their learning across a range of subjects
  • Working alongside teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting student engagement
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources
  • Supporting students with additional learning needs where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school setting
  • Be patient, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with students
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Be proactive and willing to support across different areas of the school
  • Be committed to helping students achieve their best outcomes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
