Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for a school in Horwich, Bolton, provision for pupils aged 7-16 who have been assessed as having social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties. Within this school, pupils are taught in small groups with each class being allocated a specific teaching assistant who supports them in all subjects. The school offers a personalised curriculum including practical workshops such as bike repair and welding workshops in the high school as well as a range of opportunities for physical exercise for those who benefit from releasing their extra/negative energy. To supplement this, the pupils are offered emotional literacy and PSHE sessions to support their emotion's as well as academic development. The ideal candidate for this role would be:
