Teaching and Learning Assistant (Level 2) , Slough

Start Date: September 2020

Full Time 8.30am -15.30pm


About the school

The school provide support to pupils from nursery to secondary age with additional needs. They provide support in all areas from academic, emotional, social and independence. With adapted curriculums and highly supportive staff the school’s vision is that pupils can achieve their full potential.

Who they are looking for

The are looking to appoint dedicated individual to provide tailored classroom support to pupils with EHCP’s (Educational Health care plans).  You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning.  Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed. The school currently has vacancies to work with nursery and primary pupils from September.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.  

You will have:

  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children in a Primary, Secondary or SEN setting.
  • Experience of supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)
  • The ability to maintain positive relationships with students, parents and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
