Teaching Assistant – Llandybie Area
Full-Time | Immediate Start | Competitive Pay

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Do you have experience working with young people, either professionally or personally? We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team in the Llandybie area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support across all key stages (Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2)
• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and individual or small group interventions
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support children with varying needs to reach their full potential

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people (education, sports coaching, youth work, personal/family experience, etc.)
• Be reliable, flexible, and confident covering a range of year groups and subjects
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be enthusiastic and proactive in supporting teaching staff and pupils
• Have access to their own transport (essential due to the location and travel requirements)

Desirable but not essential:

• Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
• Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs (ALN)

Transport: Must have own transport
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Full-time (part-time may be considered for the right candidate)
