Teacher of Physical Education (Full-Time / Part-Time)
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time | Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible / September start
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of Physical Education to join a dynamic and successful PE department in a Northampton secondary school. The successful candidate will promote a love of physical activity and healthy lifestyles among students.
The Role
-
Teach PE across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for suitable candidates)

Deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum, including team and individual sports
-
Support extracurricular activities, fixtures, and enrichment opportunities
-
Promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and resilience
-
Contribute to whole-school sporting events and initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
-
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
-
Passion for sport, fitness, and student wellbeing
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Willingness to contribute to extracurricular sport

ECTs and experienced teachers welcome

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
