Job description

Are you a qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher looking to step into a new teaching role within our high-achieving client school?

Teaching Personnel are currently joining a Salford based secondary school in search for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join their languages department from October 2023.

  • Paid in line with the teacher pay scale (M1-UPS3).
  • Full-time, September 2026 start.
  • KS3 and KS4 timetable
  • Salford secondary school easily accessible via public transport or car.

About the role:

  • Required to teach your language specialism (Spanish, French or German) up to GCSE level.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate all aspects of the language curriculum.
  • Assess and report the progress of all students, whilst setting appropriate learning targets.
  • Maintain a controlled and organised classroom environment through effective behaviour management strategies.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must have Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a PGCE in your language specialism.
  • Must have experience teaching modern foreign languages to students aged 11-16.
