Teacher of Maths – Experienced Specialist (Full Time)

Tadley | Permanent | KS3–KS4 | Start: April 2026 or ASAP

Teaching Personnel are working with a successful, high‑achieving secondary school in the Tadley area to appoint a dedicated and experienced Teacher of Maths Specialist. This full‑time role is ideal for a committed practitioner with strong behaviour management and a passion for delivering engaging, high‑quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.

You will join a skilled and motivated Maths department known for its collaborative approach, high expectations, and deep commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, challenging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 learners
  • Inspire students through creative teaching, real‑world Maths applications and strong subject knowledge
  • Plan effective schemes of work and assess student progress regularly
  • Maintain excellent behaviour routines and ensure a purposeful learning environment
  • Share best practice through collaborative planning and department teamwork
  • Contribute to whole‑school initiatives, enrichment activities and the wider school community

Ideal Candidate Profile

You will be:

  • An experienced Maths Teacher with QTS (or equivalent qualification)
  • Confident managing behaviour and building positive relationships
  • A passionate advocate for Mathematics and its importance in the curriculum
  • Able to inspire engagement, resilience and enthusiasm in students of all abilities
  • A reflective practitioner committed to continuous CPD and departmental improvement
  • A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

ECTs may be considered, but the role is primarily designed for experienced teachers ready to contribute immediately.
