Teacher of Mathematics – Luton

September 2026 Start | Full-Time | Initially Until December 2026 (Potential to Extend)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Luton that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join their successful department from September 2026.

This is a full-time opportunity initially until December 2026, with the possibility of the role being extended for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that is committed to delivering high-quality education and achieving excellent outcomes for its students. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence, resilience and strong problem-solving skills in a supportive learning environment.

The Role

  • Full-time Teacher of Mathematics
  • Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and differentiated lessons
  • Monitoring progress and providing effective feedback to support student achievement
  • Working collaboratively within an experienced and supportive Maths department
  • September 2026 start
  • Initially until December 2026, with the opportunity for the contract to be extended

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
  • Is passionate about raising attainment and inspiring a love of Mathematics
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider school community
  • Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers
