Full-Time | Secondary | Maths Specialist Role
Are you a passionate Maths specialist looking for a new teaching opportunity starting January 2026? Teaching Personnel are supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Basingstoke who are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Maths to join their department on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is an excellent role for a confident Maths teacher with strong subject knowledge, capable of delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The school values high-quality teaching and learning and is looking for a specialist who can inspire students and support them in achieving their full potential.
Role Overview
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work to support curriculum goals
- Support students of all abilities to develop confidence and competence in Maths
- Contribute to the department’s planning, development, and resources
- Maintain excellent behaviour management and classroom standards
What We’re Looking For
- A specialist in Maths with strong subject knowledge
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (experienced teachers and ECTs welcome)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for raising attainment and inspiring student engagement
- Collaborative and proactive within a supportive Maths department
