Teacher of Maths

A local secondary school around the Barnstaple area has contacted Teaching Personnel in their search for an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics, to join their team in September 2023. The school are looking for someone who can teach confidently across KS3 and KS4, will positively advocate for growth and achievement in Maths plus has an enjoyment of their subject.

As a Teacher of Maths you will:

• Plan and deliver developmental schemes of work, progressing students understanding and confidence of Mathematical concepts, principles, methods and vocabulary.
• Deliver high quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, KS5 advantageous.
• Identify students who require additional support and use a targeted approach to ensure they reach their potential.
• Have experience of developing and adapting lessons for SEN and additional needs students.
• Possess a range of teaching and learning techniques, alongside strong behaviour management techniques.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
