Job Title: Secondary Maths Teacher
Location: Redcar, North Yorkshire
Salary: £31,650- £49,084

About the Role:
As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality Maths education across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will have the opportunity to teach a range of abilities, helping students build their confidence and skills in this vital subject.
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Managing classroom behaviour to create a positive learning environment
  • Supporting and motivating students to achieve their full potential
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and resources
  • Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a dedicated teacher who:

  • Holds a degree in Mathematics or a related subject, along with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4)
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
  • Is committed to raising standards and achieving high outcomes for students
  • Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners

Requirements

  • Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Be able to provide at least two professional employment references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
