English Teacher – Basingstoke – Secondary School – Full Time

Are you an inspiring English Teacher looking for your next opportunity?
Teaching Personnel are supporting a secondary school in Basingstoke who are seeking a dedicated Teacher of English to join their team from November 2025.

This is a full-time position where you will be teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping pupils to develop a love of reading, writing, and communication.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through department activities and events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
  • ECTs and unqualified teachers with classroom experience are encouraged to apply.
  • A passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment.
