Teacher of English – Farnborough – January 2026 Start

Full-Time | Secondary | English Specialist Role

Are you a passionate English specialist looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity starting January 2026? Teaching Personnel are working with a well-supported secondary school in Farnborough seeking a dedicated Teacher of English to join their English department on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is an ideal role for a confident English educator with strong subject knowledge, capable of delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The school is committed to high standards of teaching and learning and is looking for a specialist who can inspire students and drive excellent academic progress.


Role Overview

  • Full-time Teacher of English starting January 2026

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to support all learners

  • Inspire a love of literature, reading, and writing in students

  • Contribute to departmental planning and development

  • A specialist in English with strong subject knowledge

  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (experienced teachers and ECTs welcome)
