Job description

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering a love for literature and language? Our client secondary school in Daventry is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their vibrant educational community.

Position: English Teacher
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Start Date: September 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students aged 11-18.

  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in English or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A passion for literature and language, with the ability to inspire students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
