Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced English teacher to join the department at our excellent client school based in Bury. This school are looking to recruit an English Teacher to start in September 2026.
- Full-time teaching role from September 2026.
- Paid in line with the Teacher Pay Scale (M1-UPS3)
- Full planning and marking responsibilities.
The head of English is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate teacher with a track record of excellent classroom practice. You will take on a full timetable teaching KS3 and KS4 classes and so it is essential that you are able to teach across varying ability groups.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive department and make a real impact on student learning and achievement. This school has an excellent reputation within the local area with a strong sense of community. There is an excellent senior leadership team who ensure continuous school improvement and high standards.
Our client school is located in Bury, making it easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Prestwich and Salford. This secondary school is also accessible by car with a large onsite car park for staff.
Teacher requirements:
- Hold QTS and a PGCE specialising in English
- Experience teaching English to students aged 11-16
- Passion for English and inspiring young learners
