Teacher of Computer Science/Maths – High School – Bury
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
About the Role:
Our client, a high-achieving and supportive secondary school based in Bury, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science/Maths to join their team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator to make a positive impact on students' learning and development within a dynamic and forward-thinking department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach to KS5 for the right candidate. You will be joining a strong, collaborative team that supports each other in the pursuit of academic excellence and student success.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science and Maths

Monitor and assess student progress to raise achievement
-
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
-
Maintain a positive learning environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Participate in school-wide activities and professional development opportunities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Have a strong subject knowledge in both Computer Science and Maths
-
Be passionate about teaching and committed to raising standards
-
Be able to inspire, challenge, and motivate students
-
Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
