Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Teacher of Computer Science to join our high achieving secondary school based in Bury. This role is set to start in September 2026.

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS.

Teacher requirements:

  • Must be comfortable teaching Computer Science to KS3 and KS4 pupils of ranging ability.
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Monitor student progress and set high expectations to motivate learners.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Engage in the full planning and marking cycle.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding and child protection policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
