Full Time
Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with a SEN school based in Totnes. The school have pupils ages 11-19 the school focus on social and emotional development, creating strong and trusting relationships between staff and pupils forming the foundation for success. The school are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to help make a difference.
The Job
- To plan and deliver an inspiring curriculum that enables all pupils to make good progress, enjoy and achieve.
- To encourage pupil participation in all lessons and in other school related activities
- To plan and teach clear, high quality lessons to support pupils to make good or outstanding progress and to embed key concepts in their long term memory
- To set clear targets for pupils’ learning, building on prior attainment and considering each pupil as an individual
Candidate
- Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but other recognised teaching
qualification considered - Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles
and methodologies - Experience within an SEN setting an advantage
- The successful candidate will be expected to work on outreach and at school sites so you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle
- Ability to teach another subject is an advantage
Directions
This school is based in Totnes Devon. You require to have a driving license and access to your own car. Parking will be available on site.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
