Experienced SEND Teaching Assistants & Qualified Teachers – Immediate Opportunities

Location: Congleton Cheshire East

Competitive Daily Rates (Dependent on Experience)

We are currently recruiting experienced SEND Teaching Assistants and Qualified Teachers (QTS) to support a network of welcoming primary schools.

We are seeking dedicated education professionals who are passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential. Whether you are an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant or a Qualified Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating engaging and inclusive learning environments while supporting the individual needs of pupils.

Flexible supply and long-term opportunities are available.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

SEND Teaching Assistants

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support.
  • Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties.
  • Adapt learning activities to individual needs.
  • Promote confidence, independence and inclusion.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
  • Encourage positive behaviour throughout the school day.

Qualified Teachers

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Differentiate learning for individual pupil needs.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide effective feedback.
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs and senior leaders.

  • Positive and adaptable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Calm, patient and nurturing.
  • Passionate about high-quality education.
  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Requirements

SEND Teaching Assistants

  • Previous SEND experience is essential.
  • Experience supporting complex needs is desirable.

Qualified Teachers

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experienced teachers only.
  • ECT applications cannot be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
