Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Blackburn based behavioural unit who are looking for a Support Worker for the new academic year. The role will be long term, full time and your duties will include;
- Supporting the class Teacher in behaviour management
- Providing pupils with SEMH Difficulties with support during class
- Working with pupils who can be violent and aggressive in their behaviours
- Assisting pupils with their work
- Providing 1:1 intervention sessions for pupils with additional needs
The School is based in the Blackburn area and the School is smaller than average with class sizes ranging from 4 - 9 pupils per class. The pupils in School have a range of difficulties including; Autism, ODD, Conduct Disorder, Mental Health Difficulties and ADHD. The School are looking to appoint a hard working, enthusiastic, experienced and confident Teaching Assistant/Support Worker for the new academic year.
The role would suit an empathetic and passionate support worker with experience supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism and/or Challenging Behaviours.
The pay for this role would be between £60 - 70 per day dependent on experience.
