Supply Teaching Assistant – Llanelli & Surroudning
Location: Llanelli & surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible supply work (full-time or part-time available)
Pay: £89.38 per day
Start Date: Ongoing opportunities available
About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a difference in their education?
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of Secondary Schools, ALN (Additional Learning Needs) Schools in the Llanelli Area
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping pupils to achieve their best. Your day-to-day duties may include:

Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
-
Providing one-to-one or small-group support to pupils who may need extra help
-
Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) or challenging behaviour
-
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
-
Supervising pupils during non-teaching times and assisting with classroom organisation

What We’re Looking For

Experience supporting children or young people (in a school, youth, or care setting)

A positive, patient, and proactive attitude with a good understanding of safeguarding

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to work across a variety of school settings

Driving licence and access to transport is a strong advantage (due to the range of school locations)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
