Your Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students in lessons across a range of subjects
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions, including supporting students with SEN
  • Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
  • Encourage student confidence, independence, and achievement
  • Support behaviour management and student wellbeing throughout the school day

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar setting
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting students to succeed
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A patient, adaptable, and positive approach
  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
  • TA qualifications are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
