Supply Teacher – Torbay and surrounding areas

Start date – February 2026

We are currently seeking confident and committed Primary Supply Teachers to support a range of welcoming and well-regarded primary schools across Torbay and surrounding areas. This flexible role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, value work–life balance and want to make a positive impact across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

About You:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Have recent experience teaching within KS1 and/or KS2.
  • Bring a confident, adaptable, and proactive approach to supply teaching.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management.
  • Feel comfortable delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Are professional, dependable, and passionate about supporting children’s learning.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing high-quality teaching across day-to-day, short-term, and long-term supply bookings.
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons while adapting to the needs of different learners.
  • Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Supporting pupils’ academic progress, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
  • Working collaboratively with school staff and following safeguarding and school policies.
