Job description

Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for flexible work in local schools?

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of primary schools across Hastings who are looking for reliable and enthusiastic teachers to provide cover on a day-to-day, short-term and long-term basis.

Whether you're an experienced teacher, an ECT looking to build experience, or returning to the classroom after a break, we can offer opportunities to suit your availability.

The role:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings
  • Support pupils to achieve their best throughout the school day

We're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A flexible and positive approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
