Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher

Day-to-Day & Long-Term Opportunities

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors and Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary and secondary schools. This role is suitable for fully qualified teachers as well as those with previous classroom or supply experience, and is an excellent opportunity for Early Career / Newly Qualified Teachers looking to gain experience in different school settings.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher or Cover Supervisor, you will be required to work in multiple schools rather than one fixed setting. This means you will experience a variety of classroom environments, age groups, and school cultures.

You may be booked for day-to-day cover or long-term placements, depending on your availability and preferences. This flexibility allows you to have full control over your working calendar, making the role ideal for those seeking work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-set work and maintain continuity of learning

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively across different settings

  • Adapt quickly to new schools and classroom environments

  • Maintain a professional and positive presence at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or relevant classroom/supply experience

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Ability to confidently handle different classroom environments

  • Professional dress and punctuality are essential

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

  • Own transport is beneficial but not essential
