Job description

Primary Supply Teachers – September Opportunities Available Across Dorset

Love teaching but looking for a role that gives you a little more flexibility?

At Teaching Personnel, we're working with a number of lovely mainstream primary schools across Dorset that are already planning for September and looking for enthusiastic Supply Teachers to support their classrooms.

Whether you're looking to work one day a week, a full-time schedule, or something in between, we'd love to help you find opportunities that fit around your lifestyle. Supply teaching is a fantastic way to enjoy the parts of teaching you love most—working with children, delivering engaging lessons and making a difference—without all the extra commitments that can come with a permanent role.

We work with schools across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ringwood, Ferndown and the surrounding Dorset areas, meaning we can often find work close to home and tailored to your preferred travel distance.

No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to experience a variety of school settings, meet new colleagues and make a positive impact wherever you go.

We're looking for teachers who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Are passionate about creating positive learning experiences
Can adapt quickly and confidently to different classroom settings
Enjoy building relationships with pupils and school staff
Bring enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude to every day

What you'll get in return:
✨ Flexible work to suit your availability
✨ Opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
✨ Competitive rates of pay
✨ Access to a wide network of local schools across Dorset
✨ Ongoing support from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant who takes the time to understand what you're looking for

Whether you're an experienced teacher seeking a better work-life balance, an ECT looking to gain experience in different schools, or someone returning to the profession, we'd love to hear your story.

If you're ready for a fresh start this September, get in touch with Teaching Personnel today and let's find the right opportunity for you.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
