KS3 Supply Teacher (Middle Schools) – Dorset

Flexible Supply Opportunities Across Our Dorset Middle Schools

Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated KS3 Supply Teachers to work across a range of our vibrant and welcoming middle schools throughout Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety, thrive in different classroom environments, and are committed to helping young people achieve their full potential.

About the Role

As a KS3 Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across a variety of subjects, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning while ensuring continuity for pupils during staff absences. Assignments may range from single-day cover to longer-term placements.

You will:

  • Teach and supervise students across Key Stage 3 (Years 5–8).
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners.
  • Create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and school leaders.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching pupils within Key Stage 3.
  • Is flexible, reliable, and confident working across different school settings.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
  • Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Is able to travel to schools across Dorset.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
