KS3 Supply Teacher (Middle Schools) – Dorset

About the Role
As a KS3 Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across a variety of subjects, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning while ensuring continuity for pupils during staff absences. Assignments may range from single-day cover to longer-term placements.
You will:
- Teach and supervise students across Key Stage 3 (Years 5–8).
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners.
- Create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and school leaders.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching pupils within Key Stage 3.
- Is flexible, reliable, and confident working across different school settings.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Is able to travel to schools across Dorset.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
