Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant – Wimbledon
Location: Wimbledon, South West London

About the Role:
This is a varied and rewarding position combining classroom support with sports coaching. You’ll work closely with teachers to support learning during the school day, while also leading and assisting with PE lessons, playground activities, and extra-curricular sports clubs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging sports sessions and promote active participation
• Support pupils in class across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Work 1:1 or with small groups to reinforce learning
• Encourage teamwork, confidence and positive behaviour
• Assist with classroom organisation and lesson preparation
• Contribute to a fun, active and inclusive school environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in sports coaching, youth work or working with children
• A positive, energetic and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to support behaviour and engagement
• Previous school or TA experience (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
