Sports Coach
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist school in Nelson (BB9), as they are looking to hire a sports coach to further engage and develop their pupil’s enjoyment of physical activity and development.
The role
As a sports coach you will need to have a relevant sport qualification, and experience working with Primary aged children (aged 5-11). You will be required to work on a full-time basis, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:20 pm. Within this role, there may be elements of general classroom support on your timetable. The school has a focus on building meaningful relationships with all pupils to create a respectful and safe environment for all, this means you will need to be able to form these relationships easily with both staff and pupils, engaging in all activities as a part of school life.

To be successful, you must:
- Be available full-time (8.00am-3.20pm)
- Have a sports coach background/ sporting experience
- Have experience working with children
- hold Enhanced, child-only DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
