Contract type: Full time, Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30 (temp to perm).

Pay rate: £14- £15 p/h.

A large 2 form entry mainstream primary school in Blackpool are looking for a sports coach to take support PE lessons, sports days, and sporting events on the lead up to the end of the academic year. The role is full-time Monday-Friday and working across all year groups in the school. The ideal candidate must be able to work flexibly and have the drive to make a difference through delivering/supporting P.E.

Requirements to be successful for the role:

• Able to implement behaviour strategies confidently.
• Experience delivering sports coaching to primary aged children.
• Strong knowledge/experience with Sports and confident with planning sessions.
• Emotional and physical resilience to meet the challenges and demands of the role.
• An excellent specialist provision in the Preston area is looking to recruit a Sports Coach from asap.
• Level 3 or degree in sports coaching.

 The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Planning and delivery interactive, fun and informative sports sessions to children aged 7-11.
• Adapt your approach according to each child’s individual needs.
• Work as part of a close team and understand the need to set high standards of practice.
• Build professional relationships with the children and young people.
• Play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
• Provide guidance, encouragement, and personalised support to students facing challenges.
• Contribute to creating a nurturing and empowering environment that promotes the overall well-being of our students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
