We are currently recruiting for a Sports Coach & Behaviour Specialist to work full-time across a range of SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) schools in the Chorley area. This rewarding role will involve supporting both primary and secondary-aged pupils, helping them engage in education, regulate their emotions, and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role:

• Deliver and support engaging sports, fitness, and physical activity sessions.
• Build positive relationships with pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
• Support students on a 1:1 basis and within small groups or classroom settings.
• Implement behaviour management strategies and promote positive behaviour.
• Encourage participation, confidence, resilience, and teamwork through sport.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people, particularly within SEMH, SEN, youth work, coaching, or behaviour support environments.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A positive, resilient, and proactive approach.
• Sports coaching qualifications or relevant experience are desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is beneficial.
