Sport Coach

Are you an experienced sports coach who is looking for a change of career? Have you got an interest in supporting some of the most vulnerable young people in your local area?

A growing focus on physical wellbeing in education makes candidates with experience as a sports coach an increasingly attractive option for schools. Sports coaches can bring many transferable and in demand skills to TA role, including communication and interpersonal skills, leadership, behaviour management  and patience.  

As a Teaching Assistant you will need to have:

• good organisational skills
• a sensitive and supportive approach
• first aid skills
• excellent team working abilities
• enjoy working with young people

We are working with several Social Emotional Mental Health and Special Educational Need schools across Bristol who are looking for a long term teaching assistant from September.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
