You will work closely with pupils who may have complex behavioural, emotional, and learning needs, including those from trauma-informed backgrounds, helping them build confidence, develop positive relationships, and engage successfully in education. The Role
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
- Helping pupils regulate emotions and manage challenging behaviours.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with vulnerable young people.
- Acting as a positive role model throughout the school day.
- Supporting engagement in learning and promoting social development.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external professionals.
- Implementing behaviour support strategies and trauma-informed approaches.
