Job Title: Speech & Language Specialist
Location: Croxteth, Liverpool (L12)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Available

Pay Rate: £13.75-£15 per hour (depending on experience)


Role Overview

Join a nurturing primary school in Croxteth as a Speech & Language Specialist. You’ll support pupils with speech, language, and communication needs through tailored interventions, working closely with teachers, SENCO, and families to boost confidence and learning outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and design bespoke speech and language intervention plans.
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with classroom staff and external professionals to embed strategies.
  • Track pupil progress and adapt plans accordingly.
  • Provide guidance and resources to teaching staff and parents for continuity of care.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Speech & Language Therapist, Speech and Language Specialist, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with primary-aged pupils with communication needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible availability for full-time or part-time assignments starting ASAP.
