Flexible Specialist Education Work Across Wareham
Teaching Personnel is expanding its network of experienced Specialist Teaching Assistants to provide cover support across a variety of SEND and SEMH settings in Wareham and the surrounding area.
This role offers flexibility combined with meaningful work supporting children and young people who benefit from specialist educational provision.
With several schools and specialist sites requiring regular cover, successful applicants can enjoy diverse experiences while making a genuine contribution to pupils' educational journeys.
Role Overview
We are looking for individuals who understand the demands of specialist education and are comfortable entering new settings with professionalism and confidence.
- Supporting pupils with complex additional needs
- Encouraging participation and learning engagement
- Assisting with behaviour support strategies
- Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Delivering structured interventions under guidance
- Working collaboratively with educational professionals
- Promoting independence and life skills development
- Helping create a positive and inclusive learning experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
