Teaching Personnel are looking for a positive and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a Specialist classroom in a Hertfordshire Primary and Secondary Special School.

About the School:
Age Range: The school caters for students aged 5-19 and has multiple classrooms dedicated to cater for the needs of SEN students.
Student Needs: A variety of needs, ranging from Autism, physical disabilities, challenging behaviours, and speech and language needs.
Class Sizes: 8-10 students per classroom.
Experience: Ideally, you have experience working in an educational setting supporting pupils with SEN or within your personal life. However, the school is willing to support your induction into SEN if you can demonstrate a passion for working with students with special educational needs.
Student Support: Work closely with a small group of pupils with special educational needs, providing direct, face-to-face support to those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Learning Environment: Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.
Collaboration: Collaborate with staff members, other educational professionals, and parents to develop effective strategies for student success.
Important information:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
Pay: £90 - £110 per day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
