Specialist Teaching Assistant – Bury St Edmunds

We support students across Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas, tailoring learning to meet individual needs. Every pupil is different, so we set personalised goals and use flexible approaches to help them succeed. Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with a range of needs and backgrounds
  • Use personalised strategies to build confidence and independence
  • Teach life skills, literacy, and numeracy
  • Create a safe, supportive, and structured environment
  • Encourage communication, self-regulation, and positive behaviour
  • Help plan activities that promote teamwork and inclusion

  • Committed to promoting positive behaviour
  • Confident in building strong relationships with students
  • Willing to take part in ongoing training and development
  • Full driving licence (essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
