Special Resource Base Teaching Assistant
- Primary SEN Support
- Vale of Glamorgan
- Flexible Working
Job description
Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience in working with children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), looking for work in the Vale of Glamorgan? If so then we would like to hear from you!
***
We are currently working with several Primary Schools across the Vale, who are looking for experienced ALN staff to work in their Special Resource Bases. These centres cater for children with all types of ALN, from Autism, to ADHE, to mental health and even visual and hearing impaired children. They require mostly 1:1 support, but you will be working with established teams of TA's who work in the SRB's full time.
The county are looking for TA's who are open to flexible working, and can be called upon to work in any of the several bases. It is important the children in these bases see regular faces when they need support, instead of someone new all the time which can sometimes be triggering for the individual. The Vale can offer you between 3/5 working days per week and you must be able to drive.
***
Ideally you will have experience in working within an ALN and keen to work with children between 3-11 years old.
