Exciting opportunity for a qualified Teacher to work at an Outstanding SEN School in Salisbury.

About the School:

A day community school for children with; Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Low-functioning Autism (ASD) and Complex Learning Difficulties.

The school can cater for up to 131 students between the ages of 4-19.

The school are committed to raising the standards of teaching and learning through the appointment and retention of high quality staff.

About the role:

  • Part time (Mondays and Tuesdays)
  • For the Summer term 2020
  • Small class sizes
  • Must have QTS to apply for this position

What are we looking for?

For this position, it is essential you have experience Teaching young people that have special educational needs.

What is most important to this school, is that they find someone who matches their values so if you believe you can support children to grow, learn and stretch students with complex difficulties then we would like to hear from you.

Due to the varying needs and age of the students at this school, we are looking for applicants who have a flexible approach to work. Although rewarding, working with such vulnerable young people can be extremely challenging so we are looking for team players with a great sense of humour.
