Teaching Personnel have a long-standing relationship with a SEN School in Salisbury, who cater for children aged 4-19 years of age with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs. All 174 pupils have an EHCP. The School has an in-house team of qualified therapists offering Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration.  

This special needs school is committed to active, creative, reflective learning, maximised by encouragement to each individual pupil to achieve their best in every aspect of their development. They celebrate innovation and are committed to nurturing high self-esteem and respect for others. 

They believe that everyone can learn, both socially and academically, becoming dynamic, independent thinkers with a lifelong love of learning

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Have lots of patience, be proactive and resilient - this role can be challenging, but it is very rewarding!
  • QTS – ECT’s welcome to apply
  • You must be playful, kind and receptive.
  • Ideally you will have experience working with young people who have special needs
  • A strong ability to develop relationships and rapport with both pupils and parents
  • Ability to differentiate lesson plans to suit all students

This is a full-time position, working 08:30 – 16:00, Monday – Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
