Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant 

Flexible Shifts | Long-Term Opportunities | Temp-to-Perm Roles Available

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work across specialist schools and educational settings in the PR5 area near Preston. We have a variety of opportunities available, including flexible day-to-day shifts, long-term placements, and temp-to-perm positions for candidates looking to build a rewarding career in education. As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including MLD, SLCN and associated behavioural, social, emotional and sensory needs.

We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, young people, or adults with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting learners with SEN
  • Availability for flexible, long-term, or permanent opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
