Salary: £77 - £90 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)

Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Role and Responsibilities: As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting students with varying special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to education and providing personalized support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the classroom teacher in implementing tailored learning plans for students with SEN.
- Assisting individual students with their learning and development, both academically and socially.
- Adapting learning materials and resources to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Encouraging and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with the SEN Coordinator, parents, and other staff to create comprehensive support strategies.
- Monitoring and recording students' progress and reporting it to the teacher and relevant stakeholders.
- Assisting with personal care tasks, as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred, but not essential.
- Patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach towards students with diverse needs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, parents, and staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the individual needs of students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
