Salary: £77 - £90 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)

Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Role and Responsibilities: As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting students with varying special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to education and providing personalized support. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Supporting the classroom teacher in implementing tailored learning plans for students with SEN.
2. Assisting individual students with their learning and development, both academically and socially.
3. Adapting learning materials and resources to meet the specific needs of each student.
4. Encouraging and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Collaborating with the SEN Coordinator, parents, and other staff to create comprehensive support strategies.
6. Monitoring and recording students' progress and reporting it to the teacher and relevant stakeholders.
7. Assisting with personal care tasks, as required.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred, but not essential.
2. Patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach towards students with diverse needs.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, parents, and staff.
4. Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the individual needs of students.
5. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
