Role Overview
As an SLCN specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils who require tailored interventions to develop their speech, language, and communication skills. Your expertise will help build pupils’ confidence, engagement, and overall development. Working closely with class teachers, parents, and external professionals, you will contribute to bespoke support plans designed to meet each child’s individual needs.

- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Speech and Language Therapy or a related area are desirable.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with SLCN is highly beneficial.

- Creativity: A flair for developing engaging activities and strategies that support pupil progress.
- Patience: An understanding that development may be gradual, along with the ability to recognise and celebrate small achievements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
