Job description

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Chadderton. Hours are 8:30am–3:30pm, supporting pupils with SEN through 1:1 and small group work.

Key Duties

  • Support pupils with SEN (1:1 and small groups)
  • Assist with personalised learning and IEPs
  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom
  • Work with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Adapt resources to meet pupil needs

Requirements

  • GCSEs in English & Maths
  • SEN experience
  • Patient, adaptable, and team-oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Safeguarding knowledge (Level 2 or willingness to train)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
