SEN Teacher – Northampton

Location: NN1

Pay: £160 – £180 per day

Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm Options

We are recruiting a passionate and resilient SEN Teacher to work within specialist SEN schools and alternative provisions across Northamptonshire. We are looking for an experienced SEN teacher or a mainstream teacher with a strong interest in inclusive practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Deliver differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEN needs
  • • Support pupils with EHCPs and individual learning plans
  • • Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
  • • Manage behaviour using positive, trauma-informed approaches
  • • Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external agencies
  • • Track progress and contribute to reviews and reports

Ideal Candidate:

  • QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Confident with behaviour support and emotional regulation
  • Calm, adaptable, and resilient
  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
