Job Title: SEND Teacher

Location: Northamptonshire 

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Permanent or Fixed Term

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, adapted lessons that meet the unique needs of every learner

  • Support pupils with a variety of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

  • Create and track personalized learning plans and EHCP targets

  • Partner with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and specialists to provide a team-around-the-child approach

  • Celebrate student progress by adapting strategies to ensure no one is left behind

  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and high-energy learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Real-world experience supporting children or young people with SEND

  • A deep toolkit of inclusive teaching strategies

  • Excellent communication skills and a "team player" attitude

  • A patient, resilient, and empathetic nature

  • Familiarity with EHCP processes (this is a plus, but not a dealbreaker)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
