Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Wednesbury, Sandwell
Salary: Pay to scale (Depending on level of experience)
Contract: Full-time (ASAP start until the end of the academic year)

We are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Wednesbury, Sandwell, who are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant. This role involves working both on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of children with SEND, supporting them to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs
- Support small groups of SEND pupils within the classroom
- Work with children with ASD, ADHD, and other learning needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo
- Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
- Encourage independence, confidence, and personal development
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience with SEND (personal or professional)
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and consistency
- Has a calm and reassuring nature
- Builds strong relationships and trust quickly
- Is adaptable and willing to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
