Job description

SEND Teacher – Wythenshawe

This welcoming and inclusive school is looking for a caring and skilled SEND Teacher to join their team after february half term. The school is committed to supporting children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

Role Overview

As a SEND Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons for pupils with different SEND needs.
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists and families.
  • Use adaptive teaching and assessment to support individual progress.
  • Create a safe, respectful and stimulating classroom environment.

What You’ll Need

  • QTS and experience working in SEND settings.
  • Strong knowledge of EHCPs, differentiation and inclusive teaching.
  • Great communication and teamwork skills.
  • A patient, resilient and creative approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
