SENDCo – Northampton

Are you a passionate SEND leader ready to make a real difference in SEN and Alternative Provision?

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring SENDCo to lead high-quality SEND provision across our South Region, supporting vulnerable learners to achieve positive outcomes both in and beyond the classroom.

Role Details

  • Location: Northampton
  • Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Salary: Pay to Scale
  • Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Setting: On-site

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop SEND provision across the region
  • Support students with SEN, SEMH, and complex needs
  • Drive inclusive practice, safeguarding, and positive outcomes
  • Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies
  • Coach and support teams to deliver outstanding learner support

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • NASENCO or NPQ in SEND essential
  • Strong SEND leadership experience within SEN/AP settings
  • Experience supporting secondary-aged learners with additional needs
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Compassionate, resilient, and student-focused approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
