SENDCo – Northampton
Are you a passionate SEND leader ready to make a real difference in SEN and Alternative Provision?
We are looking for an experienced and inspiring SENDCo to lead high-quality SEND provision across our South Region, supporting vulnerable learners to achieve positive outcomes both in and beyond the classroom.
Role Details
- Location: Northampton
- Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
- Salary: Pay to Scale
- Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Setting: On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop SEND provision across the region
- Support students with SEN, SEMH, and complex needs
- Drive inclusive practice, safeguarding, and positive outcomes
- Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies
- Coach and support teams to deliver outstanding learner support
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- NASENCO or NPQ in SEND essential
- Strong SEND leadership experience within SEN/AP settings
- Experience supporting secondary-aged learners with additional needs
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Compassionate, resilient, and student-focused approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
